Scarlet Ugly represents our inner feeling of greatness suppressed by the
feeling that we will fail. It is the fear of being inadequate and not being
able to accomplish your goals. It represents all that you wish to be. I want to share with you my inspiration for this blog, my understanding of beauty, and to give you an understanding of what this blog is about.
The Scarlet Ibis is the bird that serves as my inspiration. The Ibis is a very awkward looking bird. They have lanky necks, elongated pointy beaks, stubby fluffy bodies, and scrawny looking feet. In this bird, I see something more. Despite its appearance, this bird has one of the most vibrant colors I have ever seen. The vivacious bright red color with a hue of orange commands attention. It's interesting and unique qualities demands nothing less than acceptance. From this sprung Sabrine Scarlet Ugly.
We eventually realize that all our awkwardness, our soulfulness, and our style is beauty; it is inspiration. Beauty is our mind ; it is how we perceive the world. Beauty is how we think, how we treat our bodies; it is our faith. Beauty is freedom of expression. It is imperfection to be developed, not to be hidden.
